Ramadan needs no introduction and nor does Jerusalem (Al-Quds) & Masjid al-Aqsa, as their importance and significance is well established in the Islamic Tradition.
The Prophet (saw) said “A prayer in the Sacred Mosque (Makkah) is worth 10,000 prayers; a prayer in my mosque (al-Madīnah) is worth 1,000 prayers; and a prayer in al-Aqsa Mosque (Jerusalem) is
worth 500 prayers”, more than in any other mosque [Bukhari].
Jerusalem is a blessed area. A multitude of Prophets have lived, died and buried and other have passed through its lands. So we will find the mausoleums for Prophets (as) Noah, Hud, Lot, Shoaib, Moses,Aaron, Solomon, Joshua, Job, Yayha, Isa, Al Khidr, the people of Thamud and many others from the Quran, Torah and Bible. Ramadan IS the way to reconnect to the Quran and the ‘Qasas al-anbiya’ (Stories of The Prophets) are found in the Quran for spiritual reflection and development.
Spend THIS RAMADAN fasting, reciting Quran, Zikhr and join us for the LAST 10 NIGHTs praying Taraweeh in the Al-Aqsa Mosque [Bayt al-Muqaddas] and enjoy celebrating Eid ul Fitr in the sanctuary of the al-Haram ash-Sharif in Jerusalem [Please note we will NOT make I'tikaf in the masjid]
